4 Days Budget Safari Overview:

During this excursion of 4 Days 3 Nights Budget Safari, you will get the chance to see the delights of Tanzania. On day 1, you will go to Lake Manyara, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions and elephant herds. Game drives will be available in Serengeti National Park on Day 2. On day three, you will explore the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to a wide variety of landscapes and animals. The final activities of Day 4 include a trip to the Ngorongoro Crater as well as the city of Arusha. Spend time seeing Tanzania’s natural wonders and interacting with its diverse animal population.

Day 1: Moshi/Arusha to Lake Manyara

This morning, after breakfast at your hotel at around 7:30 a.m., you will be joined by your safari guide for a short briefing, and then you will continue on to Lake Manyara National Park. Spend the day exploring this park, which is regarded to be one of the country’s hidden jewels, by going on a game drive across the area. This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and its vast herds of elephants, both of which are not hesitant to approach the vehicle. After your wildlife drive, you will make your way back to the resort for dinner and lodgings for the night.

Day 2: To Serengeti National Park

You have the option of having a leisurely breakfast before embarking on full-day game drives at approximately 9:00 AM, bringing a packed lunch with you, and returning to the lodge in the late afternoon at approximately 6:00 PM. If you choose this option, you will have the opportunity to view wildlife during both the morning and afternoon game drives. You also have the option of getting up at six in the morning to go on a game drive during the early morning hours. You will devote most of your time spent exploring the Serengeti National Park today to focusing on the park’s central region.

Day 3: Ngorongoro crater rim/Karatu

When you go out this morning to study the world’s largest untouched volcanic caldera, you will be doing so today. Because of its size and variety, the bottom of the crater is divided into a number of distinct zones owing to the fact that it is so expansive. In these regions, you’ll find grassland, woodlands, marshes, lakes, and springs, in addition to some open grassland and sandy dunes. It’s a great chance to get up close and personal with rare and unusual creatures. The guests are treated to a picnic lunch with a vista that looks out over a little lake that is home to hippos. The Ngorongoro Crater has been given the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and its designation as a conservation area. It is possible to get there by going west of the city of Arusha.

Day 4: Ngorongoro crater – Arusha/Moshi

Start your safari tour by traveling from the centre of Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, you’ll drive through the Masai Steppe, which is home to a large number of settlements, as well as the breathtaking mountainous landscape of the highlands, which is dotted with farms. The city of Arusha may be found in the northern region of Tanzania (population 1.3 million). Mount Meru, which is located to the east of the Great Rift Valley, towers above the bustling metropolis that can be found at the base of the mountain.

F.A.Q

What should I anticipate on my 4 day trip to Tanzania in Africa?

When you go on vacation to Tanzania, you can have the opportunity to experience a safari for the very first time or for the very last time. People who have had the safari bug prefer to go back again and again to experience the African wilderness since it leaves such an impression on them.

What are the most popular activities that visitors may enjoy when visiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area?

The Ngorongoro Crater is the most famous feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is renowned for the immense variety that can be found inside its walls as well as the large number of animal species that call it home. The highlight of any trip to this protected region is unquestionably the opportunity to take a game drive into the crater and see the incredible wildlife that lives there in its natural environment.

What are some ways that I might save money by going on a camping safari?

The following are some of the estimated expenses for lodging for those travelers who are arranging their trip to Tanzania on their own:

  • When camping outside of a national park, expect to pay about US$10 per tent per night, whereas camping within a park would cost US$35 and over per tent
  • If you stay in a hostel, a dorm bed will run you between $10 and $20 per person, per night, however, certain locations may be much more costly. For instance, a bed in a hostel dormitory in Zanzibar might cost as much as US$50 per person, each night.
  • The price of a person's stay in a double room at a basic to mid-range hotel may vary anywhere from $50 to $150 per night. The cost of a night in an upper-middle-range double accommodation will vary between $150 and $250 per person.
How many people visit Ngorongoro every year?

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, often known as the Garden of Eden of Africa, is one of the most frequented wildlife parks in Tanzania. Every year, it welcomes more than 600,000 visitors, making it one of the largest protected areas in the country. The Ngorongoro Crater serves as a staging and transit region for a great number of migrating species, the majority of which are mammals.

Are there any lions in the Serengeti?

Seeing the pride of lions in their natural environment will leave you with a memory that will last a lifetime. Lions are the kings of the African savannah. The good news is that the Serengeti is home to several really big prides of lions, and it shouldn't be too difficult for you to find them. Because they are highly sociable creatures, lions always congregate in groups known as prides.

Is Arusha Tanzania expensive?

These are the general and typical prices for traveling to each of the two locations. The daily cost of living (per person) in Dar es Salaam is estimated to be $472, whereas the daily cost of living in Arusha is estimated to be $180. These expenditures include lodging (on the assumption that there would be double occupancy, which means that the traveler will share a room), food, transportation, and entertainment.
