4 Days 3 Nights Midrange Safari Overview:

Get ready for an unforgettable voyage that will take you into the heart of Tanzania over the course of four days. On this trip, the allure of the wilderness will be combined with a dash of luxury. Beginning in Arusha, you will embark on an unforgettable journey throughout this tour. The first day of our 4-day 3-night midrange safari tour will be spent in Tarangire National Park, which is famous for the tree-climbing lions and spectacular elephant herds that live there. On Day 2, you will get the opportunity to discover the splendours of Serengeti National Park, a genuine haven for animals. On day 3 you will travel to the Ngorongoro Crater as well as the lively city of Arusha. Experience the natural marvels of Tanzania and interact with the country’s abundant animals while staying in opulent accommodations at the same time.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

You will be travelling to Tarangire National Park first thing in the morning. Because of the huge elephant population, the unique Baobab trees, and the diversity of species, this park is one of the best parks in the country for taking spectacular images or simply basking in the splendour of the world’s largest land creatures.

Game drives in Tarangire are particularly interesting during the dry season, when the animals of the park are forced to cluster closer and closer to the Tarangire River. This is a fantastic opportunity to see a huge number of animals congregated in one place, as well as to witness the power struggle that occurs between predators and the creatures they hunt.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

Before beginning your full-day game drives at around 9:00 in the morning, you have the option to have breakfast at your own pace. In the late afternoon, at around 6:00 o’clock in the evening, you will make your way back to your lodge, carrying a delicious meal with you. Choosing this option gives you the chance to see wild animals both in the morning and in the afternoon. Alternately, those who are up and about before the sun may participate in a game drive that begins at 6:00 in the morning. On day 2, we will spend the day touring the centre section of the Serengeti National Park, which is where the most of the animal activity can be found.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park/ Ngorongoro Highland

Rise early for a delightful breakfast before joining your guide on a full day’s exploration of the Serengeti Plains. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, accompanied by a picnic lunch, offering ample time to experience the park’s various regions and a wide array of wildlife. Keep a lookout for lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, serval cats, wild dogs, black rhinos, topis, buffaloes, impalas, and hyenas, to name just a few.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s biggest intact volcanic caldera, so an excursion there in the morning promises to be an unforgettable experience. Because of its large size, it is home to a variety of ecosystems, such as grasslands, forests, marshes, lakes, springs, open grasslands, and sandy dunes, all of which provide opportunities to get up close and personal with rare and unusual animals. Take pleasure in a delectable picnic meal while gazing out at the tranquil lake where hippos make their home. To the west of Arusha is where you’ll find the Ngorongoro Crater, which is both a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a conservation area.

What became of the lions who lived in the Ngorongoro Crater?

The weakened lions began to steal livestock, prompting the Maasai tribesmen to kill many of them in self-defence (who were allowed to live in the crater at that time). By May of 1962, the number of surviving lions had dropped to between 6 and 15 individuals, and it is possible that this was due to an illness that was spread by the flies or to an acute loss of blood.

What country is Serengeti in?

On the Serengeti Plain in the northern-central part of Tanzania is located the Serengeti National Park, which is both a national park and a wildlife sanctuary. It is located to the northwest of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is close to it, and it is partially near to the border with Kenya.

Is Arusha hot or cold?

In general, the climate in Arusha, which is located in Tanzania, is tropical. Daytime highs vary from 21 degrees Celsius (70 degrees Fahrenheit) in July to 29 degrees Celsius (84 degrees Fahrenheit) in February. In Arusha, the month of September has the lowest average rainfall with just 1 day of precipitation, while April is the wettest month with an average of 13 days of precipitation.

Which is better, the Ngorongoro Crater or the Serengeti?

When it comes to the terrain, the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater are very comparable to one another. The scenery of the Serengeti National Park is superior to that of the Ngorongoro Crater because the Serengeti National Park encompasses a wider range of plant life than the Ngorongoro Crater does.

How risky is it to go on safari in Tanzania?

It is possible to travel across Tanzania with children as long as they are accompanied by an adult at all times and standard safety measures are adhered to to keep them out of harm's way. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for children to go on safari in one of Tanzania's national parks, and restaurants and safari lodges in Tanzania are happy to accommodate families with young children.

Is there a particular spot inside Lake Manyara National Park that you would suggest visiting if you want to go birdwatching?

Lake Manyara National Park is a popular destination for those who are interested in birdwatching since it is possible to see a diverse range of bird species there.
