As your safari comes to a conclusion, you will have the opportunity to take in some beautiful vistas of the Great Rift Valley on the way back to Nairobi. We invite you to join us for a once-in-a-lifetime journey to discover the beautiful animals, different cultures, and breathtaking landscapes of Kenya. Make your travel arrangements right now!

Day 1: Nairobi

DURING OUR TRIP, WE WILL go to the Giraffe Centre, where you may feed the sociable Rothchilds Giraffe. They’ll even let you give them a peck as they’re eating out of your hands! Make a pit stop at a few different retail districts along the way. You take a break for lunch in the café located on the verandah of the Utamaduni. The only national park in the world that is bordered by a capital city is Nairobi National Park, which is located on the southern outskirts of the city and covers a total area of 117 square kilometres, making it one of the smallest national parks in Africa. The park is home to a wide variety of animals, some of which can be observed against the backdrop of city skyscrapers and aeroplanes landing. Surprisingly, it seems as if the animals are completely unfazed by anything that is going on.

Day 2: Nairobi –Samburu Game Reserve

After being picked up from your hotel or the airport, you will make your way to the Samburu National Reserve, which is situated in Northern Kenya. You will arrive in time for lunch. Following lunch, continue on to the reserve for an afternoon of game watching there. In addition, it is the natural habitat of all three of Africa’s big cats—the lion, the cheetah, and the leopard—as well as several other species of large game, such as elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, impala, water-buck, and a great deal of other animals.

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve

Game drive in the reserve quite early in the morning. Afterwards, make your way back to the campsite for breakfast. The remainder of the morning may be spent unwinding and relaxing. Following lunch, you will be taken on an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and lodging for the night are provided by Samburu Sopa Lodge. The terrain of Samburu is well known for being very wild and semiarid, and it is home to a great number of different species of wild animals and birds.

Day 4 : Samburu Game Reserve – Aberdares

The park provides a home for many endangered northern species, including the blue-necked, reticulate, and Grew’s zebras, as well as the Beisa Oryx. Somali In addition to ostriches, the Samburu National Reserve is home to a wide variety of other animals, including elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffaloes, warthogs, impalas, hippos, cheetahs, kirk’s dik-dik, and bush bucks.

Day 5: Aberdares – Lake Nakuru

Enjoy this incredible safari in a customised pop-up roof Natural World 4×4 Safari Jeep that includes: Sand bags, 4G/LTE broadband WIFI access, Power Outlets AC 230V, First Aid Kit, and Safari Guide Books — Baby Seats and Side Steps available on request… and most importantly, a qualified and experienced multilingual safari guide who will make sure that your time on the safari is one that you will never forget. You will spend the night in a tree hotel that offers views of a nearby watering hole that attracts a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, and antelope, amongst others.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara

On day six of your nine-day safari, your guide will pick you up in a safari vehicle bright and early in the morning after breakfast at the camp. This will take place on day six. Following this morning’s game watching in a safari land cruiser, you will go to Masai Mara and check out of your lodging before arriving there. This time around, the vacation in Kenya will begin with a drive in the morning beginning at the lake.

Day 7: Maasai Mara

This day is going to be a marathon of watching the game! The Masai Mara Game Reserve is still often considered to be the natural world’s most fascinating animal ecosystem. It is home to a greater variety of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the area and has the largest concentration of wild animals overall. It is a one-stop shop for game watching activities because to its temperate temperature, tree-studded savannah plains, and wide variety of wild animal species.

Day 8: Maasai Mara – Nairob

In the morning, you will leave Masai Mara and go to Nairobi. Along the way, you will go through the highly agricultural highlands that are located on the eastern escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. At the lookout, you will take a break in the journey. The views of Mount Longonot hundreds of metres down on the Rift Valley floor are breathtaking from this vantage point, which is 2,700 metres above sea level. Lake Naivasha, which has the greatest altitude of all the lakes in the Rift Valley, glistens in the distance.

Day 9: Nairobi- Fly out

Following breakfast, you will have some free time before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your departure back home. Transport in a Land Cruiser will cost 3,180 USD per person when sharing, while transport in a minivan will cost 2,898 USD per person when sharing.

Is a visa necessary to enter the Masai Mara?

To enter Kenya, you will need a passport that has at least two blank pages, a validity date that is at least six months away, and a visa. Visas for a single entrance may be obtained upon arrival in Kenya at the country's airports; however, Kenyan Immigration has plans to phase out the availability of visas upon arrival in the very near future.

Is it true that Nairobi is an expensive city?

Without taking into account rent, the cost of living in Nairobi is 53.41 percent less costly than it is in London. This includes the costs of home bills and utilities, which make up an average of just 4.3 percent of monthly outgoings for residents in the capital city of Kenya. See the table below for an average breakdown of the cost of bills in Nairobi (not including rent).

Which National Park Is Better: Masai Mara or Kruger?

Maasai Mara is famous for its rolling savannah and wide plains, which is one of the primary reasons why it is the best place for observing the yearly migration of wildebeest. Viewing wild animals here is a little bit simpler than it is in Kruger Park due to the fact that there are less places for them to hide.

What makes Maasai Mara stand apart from other places?

The Masai Mara, which is known throughout the world for being the site of the legendary Great Migration, opens its vast savannahs to around 1.5 million wildebeests every year between the months of July and October. The Masai Mara National Reserve and the surrounding conservancies are both teeming with life and provide visitors on safari with a diverse selection of activities from which to choose.

Is it risky to go across the Masai Mara?

Travelers won't need to worry about their safety while in Masai Mara. The park is highly guarded by Park Rangers who have received expert training, as well as wildlife Wardens, and it is situated many hours away from the metropolitan regions of Kenya, which are the most dangerous parts of the country.

How much does it cost to go on a safari in Nairobi?

During the slower, off-season months of the year, you can expect to spend around $299 USD per person, per night at a discount budget safari with few extras. You may expect to pay anything from US$600 to US$2000 per person, per night, in order to go on a Kenya safari in the lap of luxury, taking advantage of peak season attractions and working with great guides.
